I take Mary Zoom Zoom back into the dealership today to have her wee scratch repaired. It's about three inches long on the downside of the trunk. They promised to fix it when I bought the car.When the guy called to set the appointment for this morning, I asked how long it would take. Could I just sit in the waiting room and play around with their free internet computers?
He laughed. This repair job is going to take THREE FOOKIN' DAYS! Why does it take three days to repair a scratch? I wonder how long it would take if I had a dent! I am mind-boggled.
So, whilst the scratch is being repaired, I will have a loaner. Maybe they will give me a hot sports car. Maybe not. This is just amazing. No wonder things cost so fookin' much. On the upside, I know they will return the car completely tricked out - all nice and shiny.
