I just don't get it. Beanie and I were in a coffeeshop yesterday and I saw someone I knew. Her name is Molly. At least I thought her name was Molly. I introduced her to Beanie as Molly.Wrong!
No longer Molly!
She changed her name to...Lilith. Fer cripes sake! Now I have to remember that! I guess Molly got in touch with her dark side and transformed herself.
I've had oher friends who have done the whole name change thing. Emily has become "Joy" (a total joke). Jill has become "Grace Raphael." Spare me. I know a Joan who became "Jone." And now Molly is "Lilith."
It's enough to make my head spin. Why don't men change their names? Have you ever heard of John becoming "Seth" or Jimmy becoming "Edward?" No. So why do women change their names and get all goddess-ish and shit?
