We are here! We made it! We got a late start out of San Diego but made up time. It was a good day to leave. We heard about all the crazy storms and tornadoes in southern California today.The casino was great too! I played 90 minutes and only lost 22 cents. That's a record for sure.
We got to the motel about 9:00 and started to check in. The shoes wanted to see absolutely everything - since this was a new experience for them.
The young lady behind the counter wasn't so sure about what was going on. Poor dear.
They wanted a soda too. So it was off to the vending area with Aunt Big Sister.
But what's a soda without ice?
Not much, I say! They LOVE the ice machine! I hope they don't sneak down there tonight and do nasty things. I hope they don't try to sneak a cooler in there after reading the sign!
I put them right to bed after they brushed their teeth. I think they are pretty worn out and I don't really expect a lot of trouble from them tonight. I'm tired too. Traveling is quite draining, especially when you are forced to eat TWO packages of graham cracker nibblies on the plane.
Methinks the angels will sleep well tonight. Tomorrow, they go visit Grandma!
