Big Sister and I went to see this movie. It is completely and totally amazing - a documentary about a singing group of elders called Young at Heart.After seeing the film, I am on fire with ideas about starting a chapter here in San Diego. I know I could do this. I know I would love it. I know it would fly!
Check it out........ a little Bee Gees and some Donna Summer (oops, Gloria Gaymor) - all sung by a group of people (average age almost 80). This will blow you away!
Starting something like this would be a huge undertaking, but imagine how rewarding it could be for everyone! Those who perform and those who come to the shows!
I have emailed the director in Massachussetts to see if this might actually be possible.
You never know which of your dreams will take flight until you jump off the cliff.
